Baltimore City with the help of Days End Farm has shut down one of the  remaining Arabber stables and seized 14 horses (a goat and some chickens.  We have a scene of an inspection and interviewed Days End owner in our documentary We Are Arabbers.   This has been going on for years and years.

Our old friend, Anne Hornaday, says it better than I could ever imagine.  It took me three times to get through Inherent Vice and I still can't decide if it is pure genius or grand standing.  It's among one of the gems from 2014 whether you are inthralled or enraged by it.
